Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (YOSEMA) has issued a caution alert over the collapse of a section of the Bauchi-Damaturu-Maiduguri federal highway. In a statement on Monday, the agency said a significant portion of the road was washed off near the Darazo exit, rendering the route impassable. The Nigerian Army has deployed 178 personnel from the 236 Tank Battalion to Headquarters Sector 8, Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP), in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
